Donations
The Synagogue functions solely through the generous support of visitors and benefactors, and receives no governmental support. At Etz Hayyim Synagogue, your donations sustain our commitment to preserving the Jewish heritage of Hania.
Contributions directly support the maintenance of our historic synagogue, educational programs that promote tolerance and understanding, and cultural initiatives that encourage and advance interfaith dialogue. Funds help us host school visits, workshops, and guided tours, ensuring future generations learn about Cretan Jewish history. Your generosity enables us to expand our library and to engage with the community through vibrant cultural events.
As a self-funded nonprofit, every donation ensures the synagogue remains a place of prayer, study, recollection, and reconciliation for all.
